Ray-Ban Meta

SPECTOR runs on your phone. Not on the Ray-Ban Meta lens.

Gen 1 and Gen 2 have no display. The Display model cannot show SPECTOR on the lens yet. Rehearse on the phone in your pocket — your writing sets the pace, nothing listens.

What works today

Rehearsal on the phone. Not on the glasses.

Get started

Rehearse on the phone. Then look up.

  1. 01

    Paste the talk

Drop a .txt or type. Mark pauses where you would actually breathe.

  2. 02

    Run it on your phone

SPECTOR advances from punctuation. Same script, same pace — no microphone chasing your voice.

  3. 03

    Then put the glasses on

The glasses do not show the script. Use the rehearsal so you can talk to the camera instead of to notes.

FAQ

Ray-Ban Meta questions.

Can Gen 1 or Gen 2 show SPECTOR?

No. Those models do not have a display. SPECTOR is a phone rehearsal for those glasses — not an on-lens prompt.

Does Ray-Ban Meta Display run SPECTOR on the lens?

Not yet. Phone rehearsal works today. SPECTOR will not claim Display support until it has been proven on real hardware.

Is SPECTOR made by Meta?

No. SPECTOR is independent and open source. It is not affiliated with Meta or Ray-Ban.

Is it free?

Yes — no watermark, no account. Spector Pro ($34 once) adds longer history on this device and copying your script with its stats. You never need Pro to rehearse. Try Spector free.
